For this exercise, we will create a task from the client.

Be sure to take the Essentials course which includes a lesson on Tasks before walking through the following exercise.

This exercise is for training purposes, and is intended for use in your sandbox environment.

  1. Retrieve a client.

For help on searching for a client file, see Client Search.

You will see a list of all tasks associated with this policy.

  3. Click the New Task button.

The Create new Task dialog opens.

The Use Template field can be used to quickly create tasks. We will manually create a task for this example.

  5. In the Title field enter a brief description of the action to be taken.

  6. Add a Due Date of tomorrow.

  10. When you are finished, click Save.

The task is saved to the policy, and can be viewed in Task Center.
