User E-Signature Integration

You can integrate with the third-party provider DocuSign™ for e-signature integration in HawkSoft to make it easier to send documents directly from HawkSoft to your customers for electronic signature.

HawkSoft E-Signature (Powered by Formstack Sign) is also available to your agency as an add on service through HawkSoft Marketplace. Once purchased, you can begin sending documents for an electronic signature without any setup.

If HawkSoft doesn't have direct integration with your e-Signature provider, you can download a document from a client/policy, and then attach the document from your computer to your e-Signature program. See Attachments Overview for more information about the right-click menu options on the Attachments List.

This article provides instructions to set up integration between HawkSoft and your DocuSign™ e-Signature provider.

No user permissions are required for e-signature integration.

See Setting User Permissions for more information.

  1. Click the  Profile icon or your username/initials in the top-right corner of HawkSoft.

  2. Select User Preferences.

  3. Select the E-Signature side-tab.

    The E-Signature screen opens.

To configure e-signature integration

  1. Select DocuSign™ as your provider from the drop-down list.

    DocuSign™ enables you to easily send documents directly from HawkSoft to your customers for electronic signature. Customers can then "sign" the document(s) electronically and return them via DocuSign.

    HawkSoft no longer enables third-party e-signature integration with Original RightSignature® v3.

  2. Click Connect.

    The Sign In screen for your DocuSign™ e-Signature vendor opens.

  3. Enter your DocuSign™ e-Signature account credentials, and then follow on-screen prompts to enable HawkSoft to access your DocuSign™ e-Signature account.

  4. Click OK to save your DocuSign™ e-signature provider.

Completing DocuSign™ e-signature integration enables you to send documents directly from HawkSoft to your customers for electronic signature.
