Settings Migrated from the Sandbox

When you perform the final migration to HawkSoft 6, most settings (e.g. General Configuration, User List) are copied from your HawkSoft 5 database. This article covers which settings are copied from the Sandbox instead of your HawkSoft 5 database, and which settings do not migrate at all and need to be configured after final migration.

Except as noted in this article, HawkSoft will migrate all agency settings from HawkSoft 5 to HawkSoft 6 as part of final migration.

Settings migrated from the Sandbox

These settings are either new to HawkSoft 6, or have been dramatically changed from HawkSoft 5, and so cannot be faithfully migrated from HawkSoft 5. These settings are therefore migrated from the Sandbox as part of the final migration to HawkSoft 6:

• Activity Tags

• To create a Task Template

• To create a Task Category

• Default Tasks

• Download Tasks Rules

• Agent Commission Rules

Settings configured after Migration

These settings are not migrated from HawkSoft 5, nor are they migrated from the Sandbox. These settings must be configured after final migration to HawkSoft 6:

• Download Rules

• Local and Third-Party Downloads

• Configuring your IVANS Accounts

Download Tasks Rules can be configured in, and will migrate from, the Sandbox.
